Consumption Characteristics of Vietnam Housewares and Gifts Industry

Vietnamese residents' consumption on housewares and gifts is divided into mass products and high-end products. The mass products come from Vietnam's local handicraft villages and towns, while the high-end products are mainly imported. Consumer goods are the third largest import category, accounting  or 10% of Vietnam's total imports. 

 

 

With the increase in income, urbanization and the construction of a large number of housing units, it is expected that household consumption will grow at a CAGR of 9.6%, which is a promising market.
